National Certificate: Milk & Cream Handling & Storing

The purpose of this qualification is to ensure that the person who receives bulk milk or cream at a dairy reception facility can monitor the acceptability of bulk raw milk or cream and receive it into the processing system, thereby contributing to the quality assurance of dairy products.

GETC: Food & Beverage Handling Processes

This qualification will contribute to increasing levels of personal and product safety and will develop a common integrated and co-ordinated approach to the handling of food and related products.

National Certificate: Manufacturing Management

A person acquiring this qualification will be able to plan work processes to ensure that (a) production line(s) operate effectively within the performance requirements of the manufacturing unit, lead people within a production environment to ensure organisational objectives are achieved, maintain health, safety and quality control standards, organise, control and continuously improve a production process in the South African manufacturing context to enable the unit and the organisation to remain competitive in the global market place.
